Novara Launches Quality Essentials Bundle to Bring Practical Quality Management to Modern Manufacturers

WESTMINSTER, CO — Novara today announced the launch of Quality Essentials, a new bundle within Novara Flex designed to give manufacturers immediate control over core quality processes without the cost and complexity of a full quality management system (QMS).

Quality Essentials introduces a streamlined approach to quality management, enabling teams to centralize documents, track nonconformances and corrective actions, manage change impacts, and maintain audit readiness within a single, integrated platform.

“Most manufacturers do not fail at quality because they lack sophistication. They struggle with consistency, visibility, and follow-through,” said Jade Hendrix, Chief Product Officer at Novara. “Quality Essentials is designed to address exactly that. It gives teams the structure they need to stay in control of quality without introducing the overhead of a traditional QMS.”

Addressing the Gap Between Spreadsheets and Enterprise QMS

Many small to mid-sized manufacturers operate without a formal QMS, relying instead on spreadsheets, email, and disconnected tools. This often results in reactive issue management, missed follow-ups, and increased audit risk.

Quality Essentials directly targets these breakdowns by delivering foundational workflows that are simple to adopt and built for day-to-day operations, not compliance-heavy environments.

At its core, the bundle provides:

  • Document Control with versioning, approvals, and training visibility
  • Nonconformance and CAPA Management with root cause tracking and effectiveness checks
  • Change Control with impact assessments across documents and training
  • Audits and Reviews with clear linkage to corrective actions
  • Training and Awareness tied directly to quality events
  • Real-time Dashboards highlighting open items, aging risk, and accountability

By consolidating these processes into a single system, Quality Essentials helps organizations improve ownership and follow-through, reduce audit surprises and customer escalations, replace fragmented tools, and achieve faster adoption with minimal training.

Built for Adoption, Not Overhead

Unlike traditional QMS platforms that assume high process maturity and regulated environments, Quality Essentials focuses on usability and speed to value. It is built for manufacturers who need to establish discipline without slowing operations.

Quality Essentials is fully native to Novara Flex, allowing customers to extend existing safety and operational workflows without introducing additional systems or integration complexity.

Availability

Quality Essentials is available starting May 7, 2026, as part of the Novara Flex platform.
