This government contractor operates and manages contracts for 120-130 federal facilities across multiple states, overseeing teams composed of electricians, mechanics, plumbers, and janitorial crews.
“All team members are required to go through training on a monthly basis, with additional training assigned as needed,” explained a Vice President of Facilities Services. “For instance, if there’s been an increase in accidents, we send out refresher training.”
However, with a workforce spread across more than 100 worksites, most of whom lack access to computers, training implementation was a major challenge. “Each facility had a dedicated training computer, but getting team members to take time out of their workday to use it was a struggle.”
